Dear colleagues,
After many years of very little activity, quantitative research on education in Denmark has proliferated during the last 10-15 years. Now high-quality research is made across many institutions and organizations. We believe that it would be of great value to meet across these institutions to present working papers, receive feedback and have time to talk and possibly establish new collaborations for future research.
Researchers from across Denmark will present results from 27 different quantitative research projects within educational research. Presentations are organized in eight different panels focusing on these topics:
- Early interventions and daycare
- Educational decisions
- Family background and inequality
- Mental health and well-being
- Primary School and the role of teachers
- Refugees and immigrants
- Special needs and special education
- Tertiary Education
Everybody with an interest in quantitative educational research in Denmark is invited to attend the meeting, which takes place at the beautiful Hotel Vejlefjord, 25-26 November 2021. The conference will start with lunch and a welcome session. After that, accepted papers will be presented at panels Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. Thursday evening, we will have dinner together. The meeting closes with lunch Friday at noon. The conference fee is 2,500 DKK, which covers accommodation and meals.
